Queridos Hermanos:

Debido a problemas en la conexión de Internet en Cabana no hemos tenido posibilidad de enviarles comunicación alguna.

Es así que tenemos la alegría de comunicarles que el día de hoy el XV Capítulo Provincial Ordinario de la Provincia Latinoamericana ha procedido a la elección del Superior Provincial y su Consejo. Hno. Gustavo Edgardo Ferreyra ha sido electo Superior Provincial y su Consejo está compuesto por los Hermanos Carlos Abraham, Raúl Sena Vélez, Héctor Varela y Héctor Mastrocola.

La celebración de la Solemne Eucaristía de Acción de Gracias fue celebrada al mediodía, presidida por Hno. Héctor Varela.

En horas de la tarde el Capítulo, con la firma de Actas se han clausurado las sesiones. Nuestro Superior General ha referido un mensaje a los Hermanos, al momento de la clausura, en donde nos exhortaba a vivir comprometidos este tiempo nuevo para la Familia, en Latinoamérica.

Agradecidos por su cariño y cercanía en la oración, los comprometemos a seguir orando por el Superior Provincial y su Consejo que tienen delante de sí la mísión de llevar adelante lo proyectado en Capítulo.

The  morning session started at 9:30 am  with a warm welcome to Fr. Puramadathil George (in the photo), the newly elected Provincial who  arrived from Edmonton, Canada. The outgoing Provincial exchanged the constitution and the image of the Mother Mary to the new Provincial. The President welcomed him cordially and invited him to deliver the massage. The chapter was called for a tea break. The second session of the day started at 11: am where the President stated about the procedure of the election of four councilors. The councilors as follows:

Fr. Cherumadathil Jaison

Fr. Cherumadathil Martin

Fr. Ullattil Thomas

After electing all the Provincial Councilors, the second session of the chapter was closed for lunch.

The third and closing session of the day started at 2:45pm. The President thanked all the Chapter members for their active participation and collaboration. The newly elected Provincial too thanked all. Finally the president declared the conclusion of the Chapter and requested all the delegates to proceed to the Orest Bhavan Chapel where they celebrate the Eucharistic celebration and thus officially conclude the 4^th Provincial Chapter.
